Building Your Research Journey as an Undergraduate
Career Club STEC- CCS is proud to have collaborated in successfully organizing the insightful seminar “Building Your Research Journey as an Undergraduate”, held on 5 September 2026 via Zoom.
The session provided undergraduate students with valuable insights into research, academic development, scientific thinking, and building a strong research journey from the early stages of university life.
We were honored to have Dr. Pratim Sikdar, PhD in Material Science from the University of Georgia, USA, and Senior Research Engineer/Scientist at PPG Aerospace, as the distinguished speaker.
His experience and valuable guidance offered students a broader perspective on how to explore research opportunities, develop research skills, and prepare themselves for future academic and professional pursuits.

Successfully Concluded | Seminar on “How to Secure a Fully Funded MS or PhD in the USA” 🇺🇸
Career Club STEC- CCS is delighted to have successfully co-hosted an insightful seminar on “How to Secure a Fully Funded MS or PhD in the USA”, held on 4 September 2026 via Zoom.
The session featured Dr. Pratim Sukdar, PhD in Material Science from the University of Georgia, USA, and Senior Research Engineer/Scientist at PPG Aerospace, who shared valuable insights into the journey of pursuing higher education in the United States, securing fully funded graduate opportunities, research pathways, and preparing for an academic and professional career in the USA.
The session provided participants with practical guidance and inspiration to explore fully funded MS and PhD opportunities in the USA and plan their future academic journeys with greater clarity.
