Because yes, some things in life are more important than st
udy, high profile jobs and the College. There is life, beauty, love, friends, family, food, wine, music and laughter. This is what we stand for, this is what really counts. This is why during the year we submerged you with silliness, shameless flirting, singing Bella Ciao in the cantine, offering wine and food, partying hard and being VERY VERY LOUD. During this last week, our National Week, we are going to try to give you a stronger taste of what happiness is about according to us. We will bring the food and the wine, the beauty and the swag, and you will have to stop, taste it,share it and savour it. Stop worrying, and talk to your friends around the dinner table,with the best food (according to the rest of the world),a cup of Italian wine and all the time in the world to relax. Have a laugh, listen to the music and sing. Put your sunglasses on,even if you’re indoors…you’re cool and you know it! Be loud, be cool, be happy! We will bring you around on a journey, in a cool Roman Holiday when there was time to enjoy and to laugh, Italy had swag (it still has it) and Rome was, again, the centre of the world. And then, right at the end of our journey in this madhouse, come join us on the beach: it might not be our Mediterranean Sea, Mare Nostrum, but it’ll do for this time. Our Roman Holiday will end where it historically started, right at the time of the Great Roman Empire. Prepare your toga, and we will give you your cup and your laurel crown to celebrate the Decadence of the Roman Empire (and the End of the College) with our friends the Barbarians from all around the world! An year of tribulations has ended. Let’s celebrate what you earned for real: love, friends, a diplome and….LOTS OF WINE!!
