Here at the School of Continuing Education, we are helping Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC) build its next generation of leaders through our customized training management skills program, which is designed to strengthen leadership capacity across the organization.
The program was recently delivered to 60 MNBC staff members, with another 60 employees signed up for training this fall.
Ghazal Tohidi, the MNBC Director, says the customized program has been an exceptional investment for MNBC. “The program has helped strengthen our management capacity across the organization and supports our commitment to developing current and future leaders at MNBC,” she says. “UFV’s partnership and willingness to customize the program to meet our needs helped us provide a meaningful learning experience for our leaders. Given the positive feedback and impact of the first cohort, we are excited to continue this partnership and support the next group of emerging leaders.”
