March was a wonderful month of connection, conversation, and community! ☕📚✨

We were delighted to host both our Annual History Tea and our 4th Annual History Trivia Night, and what a fantastic turnout for both events! From thoughtful discussions over tea to some seriously impressive trivia knowledge, it was a joy to see so many people come together to celebrate history with us.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and made these events so special. Your enthusiasm and support mean everything—we can’t wait to see you at our next gathering!

Vedder River Restoration, Youth-Led Action for Freshwater Health will provide youth aged 16-25 in the Fraser Valley with an opportunity to participate in the stewardship of the Vedder River, a watershed that holds significant cultural, environmental, and recreational values.

This project will empower youth with practical skills and leadership in sustainability, while monitoring and improving freshwater quality and habitat for salmon and other native species along the Vedder River in Chilliwack.

Youth will learn about both Indigenous and western approaches to ecosystem health, get exposed to different career pathways within restoration and sustainability, and learn how to use creative storytelling to encourage the broader community to do their part in ensuring freshwater health.
