UPDATE ON INCOMPLETE COURSES 2020
Dear students,
Hi there and thank you all for your patience during this time. I wanted to touch base with you all and let you know that we are working diligently to get you back in the facility to finish your courses this summer. Things will feel a little different when you come back, but I’m looking forward to having you back and completing your studies.
At this stage, we are still finalizing all the details and requirements for in-person program delivery, but I have outlined what we know to date, below.
Here are a few things you should know before we start up again in the summer:
• There will be possible changes to class size and timing of delivery from what you are used to. We are doing our best to create a schedule that will work well for all parties involved. You must realize that there are many stakeholders that need to be satisfied and so some understanding and flexibility is going to be required from everyone.
• Failure to return and complete your studies this summer is going to put completion of your program in jeopardy. We will try our best to accommodate students who have extenuating circumstances preventing them from returning to SAIT, but cannot make promises at this time.
• There will be training that you will need to complete prior to entering the facility to make sure you understand and can follow all of the health and safety protocols.
• I ask that you please take the health and safety protocols seriously and adhere to them at all times. It is of the utmost importance to me as your Academic Chair that we can complete your studies and keep everyone safe and healthy.
Keep an eye on your email for communications from myself and the Office of the Registrar about dates, deadlines and schedules. If you have any questions, reach out and I’ll be happy to answer them as information becomes available.
Stay up to date with SAIT’s response to COVID-19, including what to expect if you have classes on campus.
