CYSF Calgary Youth Science Fair

CYSF Calgary Youth Science Fair CYSF is open to students in grades 5 through 12. Canada's largest science fair held at the University of Calgary's Olympic Oval!

The mission of the Calgary Youth Science Fair Society is "to promote an appreciation for scientific principles and method in the youth of Calgary by means of an annual science competition". Every year approximately 800 students from schools in and around Calgary gather to take part in Canada's largest science fair. The fair is open to students in grades 5 through 12. Students normally register thr

ough the science fair coordinator at their school. If a school does not sign up for the fair, then parents have the option of registering their child directly, as an independent. If you are a parent interested in entering your child as an independent please contact Fraser Head at [email protected]. The science fair is organized by the Calgary Youth Science Fair Society to encourage and promote ongoing interest in science. The Board of Directors is comprised of volunteers representing the business, scientific, and education communities of Calgary.
