EVERYONE!! We're holding auditions for my UBC fourth year student short film, "ELVISH BLADES." on december 9th and 10th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at the UBC Film Production building.

GENRE: Fantasy
SYNOPSIS: Elvish Blades is a fantasy inspired short film, set in the fictional land of Sangtaria. The story follows the Elvish Blades, a rebel group of freedom fighters. Their Kingdom has been conquered by the Dark Elf Empire, and it’s up to Crestann and his group of mercenaries and assassin’s to pierce the heart of the invasion, stopping it once and for all.
CHARACTERS:
CRESTANN
• Male
• (age 18 to 30)
• Crestann is a High Elf rebel warrior, and leader of a group known as the Elvish Blades. He’s a bitter, angry young Elvish man willing to do whatever it takes to reclaim his homeland. He fights with a two handed sword and light battle armor.
• Race: Any ethnicity
KASARIA
• Female
• (age 18 to 30)
• Kasaria is a Dark Elf commander. She has led her ships into the heart of enemy territory, hell-bent on conquering this land in the name of her Emperor’s glory. She is skilled in hand to hand combat and wears extravagantly decorated battle armor. She’s a bad ass femme fatale commanding legions of loyal soldiers.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: The film itself will be shot on a green screen stage to create a hyper stylized, epic battle sequence, set in a rich, fantasy environment.
