Meet the UPEI Black Student Society! UPEI Black Student Society
The UPEI Black Student Society (BSS) is a student-led organization that celebrates Black culture, builds community, and advocates for the social and academic well-being of black students at UPEI. We create spaces for connection, education, leadership, and cultural expression through events, programming, and community initiatives. Students should join the UPEI Black Student Society to connect with other Black students, build community, celebrate Black culture, and create meaningful experiences on campus. It’s also a space to meet new people, get involved, develop leadership skills, and have your voice heard.
The UPEI Black Student Society hosts a variety of social, cultural, and educational activities that bring Black students together and celebrate Black culture. Our programming includes cultural events, community gatherings, workshops, guest speakers, networking opportunities, and advocacy initiatives throughout the academic year.
