The I-STEAM Pathways team were delighted to welcome the Summer 2025 cohort of Indigenous interns today. Vice-Provost Dr Florence Glanfield inspired us all as she welcomed them as ualberta employees. We are excited to be working with them and their research supervisors this summer!

This morning we were delighted to welcome this summer's research supervisors to our Supervisor Orientation. We were honored by the presence of Elders Dr. Francis Whiskeyjack, Elsey Gauthier, also Dr. Evelyn Steinhauer who shared her wisdom and deep experience of mentoring Indigenous undergraduate students. A wonderful beginning to this Summer's Indigenous students' internship!
