It's never too late to build a career that fits who you are. 💚

Rulla Cox is currently studying the Digital Marketing and Graphic Design Using AI program remotely from Fredericton at Eastern College.

Returning to school as an adult came with some nerves, but Rulla shared that the program has helped her build confidence in herself and in her abilities.

"One of the biggest things I have gained from my time at Eastern College is realizing that it is never too late to learn something new, change direction, and work toward building a career that fits who you are."

Along the way, she's strengthened her skills in digital marketing, design, communication, social media, SEO, analytics, and AI, working on projects that feel relevant to real-world situations.

September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day to honour the children who never came home from residential schools, the Survivors who carry their memory, and the families and communities still healing.

At Eastern College, we recognize that reconciliation is an ongoing process, not a single day. We encourage our students, staff, and community to wear orange, listen to Survivor stories, and take time to learn about the history and impact of the residential school system in Canada.
