Welcome back!!
The Dalhousie Undergraduate Political Science Society AGM will be happening on Friday September 25th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 PM in Room 1201 of the Mona Campbell Building.
We are seeking to elect three roles during the AGM!
First Year Rep:
Acts as a liaison between the DUPSS and the students of first year, they are responsible for class announcements and post advertisements regarding all the DUPSS events and activities, and respond to the delegated tasks as set forth by the Executive.
Kings Rep:
Acts as a liaison between the DUPSS and the student body at the University of King’s College. They make class announcements and post advertisements at the University of King’s College, and obey and understand all rules governing placement of advertisements at the University of King’s College.
Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (EDIA) Rep:
Works through an anti-oppressive framework to advocate for marginalized
members of DUPSS. Works with all general and executive society members to ensure that all
programming, policy, initiatives, and campaigns are inclusive, accessible, and equitable. Collaborates with the President with conflict resolution processes directly related to issues of equity and accessibility. Collaborates with the Vice President Academic to advocate for representative and diverse curricula. Attends all EDIA Committee Council meetings and provide regular reports to
DUPSS.
