We're excited to launch the Rotman Institute of Philosophy's Trainee Partnership Initiative, a new program that connects graduate students with not-for-profit, public-sector, and industry organizations to explore collaborative research opportunities. By bringing together different forms of expertise, the initiative helps foster partnerships that tackle complex challenges and generate real-world impact.
Through a series of trainee profiles, we're showcasing the research interests, skills, and perspectives our graduate students can bring to potential collaborations. We hope these profiles spark new connections and create opportunities for meaningful, mutually beneficial partnerships.
Meet Eden Hoffer, a PhD student in Health Information Science at Western University . Her research focuses on how institutional responses impact intimate partner violence survivors’ experiences, and advocates for survivor-centred, trauma- and violence-informed policy reform and development.
