📢Upcoming Event!

Join us for an important and timely talk with Benjamin Chin-Yee (Western University) and Lisa Vandeberg (Radboud University): Communicating Early Cancer: How Narratives and Pathology Reports Shape Risk Perception and Treatment Decisions".

This event will explore how the stories we tell - and the clinical language we use - deeply influence how patients understand early cancer, assess risk, and navigate treatment choices. Drawing on interdisciplinary insights, the session will highlight why communication matters just as much as clinical data in shaping health outcomes.

Date: April 1st, 2026
Time: 10:00 – 11:30 AM
Location: Western Interdisciplinary Research Building, Mission Control (7th Floor)
Event details: https://www.uwo.ca/events/2026/04/communicating-early-cancer-how-narratives-and-pathology-reports-shape-risk-perception-and-treatment-decisions.html
We hope to see you there.
