Here it is….
June 1st I am making it official and have a contract with a company out of Swift Current and am in the processing of getting things set up for Compass and Anchor Counselling to launch as a private counselling practice.
Stay tuned for updates as I finalize office space etc.
I will be taking clients for private practice early morning (before work for some), evenings and Saturdays. I am super excited to enter this new season.

Just wanted to say another thank you to all this who have helped me as I carried out my practicum.
Now for an update…
I will graduate in April and am in the process of obtain credentials with CCC (Canadian Certified Counsellors) which is the designation companies look for when hiring. I have also be granted professional membership with CCPA as my governing association.
I have been in contact with a couple different companies in the area and will keep you posted as I do hope to have a private practice to serve the community in the not to distant future.

The time has come…I am heading to meet with my last client to complete my second practicum. I have also received my “professional status” as a counsellor with CCPA (a governing body for counsellors). I can not thank my clients enough for entrusting me to journey with them and sharing there story with me. Every client has helped prepare and equip me to help future clients.

Today is the last day of February and my last full weekend for practicum.

Here is the question I have for you…
If I was to launch a private practice here in Moose Jaw would what time do you think would be best to have appointments?
Days?
Evenings?
Weekends?

Also what do you think is a fair/willing to pay for an hour long session?

I am excited for the future and looking forward to serve this city well.

Well, I wanted to give you a quick update and let you know I am 2 weeks from completing my practicum. I am considering opening a private practice here in Moose Jaw, but I would need to secure some clients first. I would appreciate you sharing my page with a couple of friends, and if you have been a client, would you consider emailing a testimony of how it went so I can share and encourage others in need to reach out and get some help. I will also be looking for a location for the practice, so if you have any leads, let me know.
