Reconciling: A Lifelong Struggle to Belong

Join CapU, in partnership with the PCHC-MoM Society and the Native Education College, for an afternoon of community, learning and connection over tea and fresh bannock in recognition of National Indigenous Peoples Day.

Celebrate the release of Reconciling: A Lifelong Struggle to Belong with Elder Larry Grant, co-author Scott Steedman and filmmaker Sarah Ling, as they share stories of identity, resilience and reconciliation.

This year, CapU will confer honorary doctorate degrees on:

🔹Marcus Mosely
🔹Nancy Stibbard
🔹találsamkin-t siyám Chief Bill Williams (posthumous)

We will also honour two distinguished retired faculty members with the title of Academic Emeritus:

These individuals have made extraordinary contributions to literature, the arts, tourism, Indigenous leadership, environmental education and psychology, leaving a lasting impact on their communities.
