Our students need your help! Please click on this link to sign the petition about the OSAP pause. Even if you are not affected, our students are and we all need to stick together to get funding restored for our incredible programs.
OSAP is punishing all Private Colleges because of 7 fraudulent schools. We have had perfect OSAP audits for the 20 years we have been in Stoney Creek and the stress this causes our students is horrible.

Please share this with everyone you know so that we can keep graduating healthcare professionals that positively impact our communities.

Honour OSAP funding for students already approved and enrolled

When Sarah was just 12 years old, her father experienced a medical emergency in their driveway. As paramedics arrived, she watched a female paramedic take charge of the scene. That moment stayed with her and inspired her to pursue a career in paramedicine.
More than 23 years later, Sarah has built a career dedicated to caring for others and helping shape the next generation of paramedics.
From working on the road as a paramedic to advancing into Advanced Care Paramedicine, and now serving as a Program Coordinator and educator, Sarah has experienced paramedicine from many perspectives.
Today, one of her favourite parts of teaching is watching students grow from the beginning of the program to the moment they realize:
“I can actually do this.”
For Sarah, teaching goes beyond skills, medications and protocols. It’s about helping students develop the confidence, clinical judgment, communication and compassion they need to care for patients during some of their most difficult moments.
And there’s a creative side to Sarah, too! 🎂 Outside of paramedicine and teaching, she loves cake decorating and design — a creative outlet where she can slow down and turn an idea into something beautiful.
We’re proud to have Sarah bringing her 23+ years of experience, passion and dedication to OCHT’s Primary Care Paramedic Program. ❤️
