I've been putting this off.

On June 28 my family experienced a house fire resulting in a total loss of our home and belongings with exception of some very sentimental items we were miraculously able to recover, alongside our primary vehicles.

Everyone is safe.

Unfortunately our new reality means I am unable to produce my soap or bath/body products for at least the next year as I focus on rebuilding our home from scratch and creating a sense of normalcy for my family in the interim.

I am missing my market fam and fans this summer and wish I could keep up with getting you your favourite products. Please keep supporting my friends at the (some of whom do carry some of their own soap). I hope to see you at the market myself one day again ❤️

About once a year I go into abrupt hibernation from the business. Just seems to be the pattern whether it's a car accident, a baby, serial illnesses. Always something.

Anywho - I am BACK (or at least forcing myself to be :P) for Christmas!

UPDATE 🤕

I am off for 1 more week while I settle into normal physical activities, and prioritize returning to my full-time job (wearing sunglasses for my indoor corporate life is a dramatic look I'd never thought I'd sport...I don't totally hate it).

September 1 will mark my return to the and I'm looking forward to being back.

Cluckin' Concussion 🐔

Taking tips for recovery and relief please 👐🏻

Anyone who's been waiting to hear from me on something or looking for me at the market - thank you for your patience.

While playing with my son i took a toddler head full falling force to the face *crack* which injured my nose and gave me a confirmed concussion. I wish I was cluckin' kidding. The child walked away uninjured and ready for another flying leap from the couch into a pillow pile.

Three urgent care visits and an x-ray later, I've been told no physical activity (not even housework..ohh nooo I'll miss it sooo muchhhh) and limited screentime/work/focus time etc.

Which means no soaping, no this weekend :(

I know I have some preorders for unscented soap and a couple other various orders in queue for shipment, bear with me, I have not forgotten you and will make sure y'all are taken care of as soon as I can.

Thank goodness for my emotional support chicken from .hands.hearts that is currently the perfect support for the crook of my neck.
