Taken from us too soon, Wayne died in St.Michael's Hospital with his family by his side on Friday, April 8, 2011. He was 44. Also survived by his mother Ruth McCann; Sisters Florence (Doug), Diane (Brian) and Michelle (Terry); Brother Danny McCann (Shelley); Uncle to Jessica, Tyler, Karlee, Emily, Victoria, Elizabeth, Mercedes, Abigail and Charlotte. Predeceased by his father Daniel McCann. Wayne was a lover of nature and science, near completion of a degree in Enviromental Science at the University of Toronto. Highly skilled in computer knowledge and a passion for photography, Wayne and his many talents will be so dearly missed. Family and friends will be received at the SHERRINFUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND TRIBUTE CENTRE, 873 Kingston Road, Toronto (west of Victoria Park), on Friday, April 15, 2011 from 2-4p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 354 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto, on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 1 p.m. Private Cremation. In memory of Wayne, donations can be made to Greenpeace or forwarded to Scotiabank Trust Account No.41202 03180 86 to help pay for a memorial bench will be placed in his memory.
