The year is 2015, the place is standing on the shores of the Gulf of Kuwait looking back towards the Kuwaiti Towers 🇰🇼 knowing that this special time, in this beautiful place, with these awesome people was a huge blessing from Allah and this moment will lead the way to many great things in my life insha'Allah. I had just went to Law School at Dalhousie University in Halifax and passed the LSAT Law School Admissions Test and I hoped to be fulfill my lifetime dream of being a Lawyer yet my Professor at the time asked the Admissions Officer not to accept me and told me he did this so that I would teach and inspire people with the SIBKIS Empowerment Systems... I didn't like it at the time yet he was so very right and like the feeling I had in this picture... Alhumdu'lillah this is where I was supposed to be" and it has lead me to becoming Dr. Ibrahim J. Downey sharing the Positive Islamic Psychology and the SIBKIS Life-Changing Coaching with the world. so which of the favours of your Lord will you deny? 🙏❤💪

This is the first gathering we had to remember my and all that she shared, showed and stepped up for us all and many more.

There were stories upon stories about her kindness, her generosity and most importantly her love... she was one of the most authentic people I have ever met or know... my heart misses her 💔😢😞 in ways that words can never say and this feeling is something we all share 🙏

For me the best thing is that she died as a Muslim keeping her word to Allah that if He brought me home safe from Hajj in 2004 where hundreds of people died that she would embrace Islam and live and die as a Muslim ☪️

I am ever grateful for the her family who showed up to honour and show their love and respect this memorial makes me smile and eases our broken 💔 hearts 💕 God bless and guide you all and those who you love and care for. Ameen 🙏
