Chaldean Canadian Student Association The Chaldean Canadian Student Association seeks to promote Chaldean ethnicity, culture and Chaldean-Rite Church liturgy.

Welcome to the Chaldean Canadian Student Association (thereafter CCSA) page. We, at CCSA, are an independent, non-profit organization which is currently stationed in Toronto, Canada. The CCSA believes and promotes the Chaldean ethnicity. Our page intends to inform our followers of contemporary events and historical narratives of the Chaldean identity. The CCSA is currently operating at York University (Keele Campus).

Derived from the root ܗ–ܘ–ܐ, ܗܘܵܐ is one of the most fundamental words in Chaldean. It means “to be,” “to become,” or “to occur,” and is used to express existence, a state of being, or a change of state. Depending on the context, it can also mean “was,” “became,” or “happened.”
