GCC Global China Connection at the University of Toronto GCC-UTSG is a student organization at the U of T which focuses on promoting business and cultural exchange.

Found in 2008 in the United States, GCC is a global non-profit organization for university students and young professionals of all nationalities looking to engage China’s emergence in the world. GCC U of T, specifically, aims to focus on the success of students in their future career.

1.1 About
Found in 2011, Global China Connection (GCC) at the University of Toronto is a social club that strives to create professional connections, provide networking and career opportunities to members, and seek paths to expand members’ vision and capabilities.
In the past years, GCC has organized speaker series, business competition, and provided networking facilitated networking between students and professionals. This year, we will continue our effort in creating better opportunities for our members to thrive.
1.2 We Are Hiring Associates!
To make all that possible, you're the brains behind our work. You're ready to bring your knowledge from the classroom to our meeting room, and we want to help you succeed. Whether it's honing your skills or building your network, we know that success can't come without growth. Coaching from our executive members equip you with the knowledge and training you need to play a valuable role on your team, and establish a long-term career in the future.


2. Who are you?
We are looking for motivated individuals, who are eager to build their network early on, naturally curious, and interested in meeting different people.
Well also be looking for the following:
*Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
*Ability to present information in a clear, creative, and persuasive manner
*Ability to work independently and in a team environment
*Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and time management skills

3. Departments looking for Associates
（1）Marketing Department – advertising for events, creation of posters and other multimedia materials.
（2）Internal Department – managing social media including Wechat (and Facebook); administration work including room booking, internal document management etc.
（3）External Department – major responsibility includes outreaching to speakers and maintaining sponsors’relationship.

4. Application
Candidates interested in applying must submit an application through email, including contact information, a résumé and the department(s) of your interest. The email must be named in the following format: "GCC Associate 2015 - [Lastname], [Firstname]" and should be sent to [email protected] before Friday, November 30, 2015 at 11:59pm. Successful applicants will be contacted for interview on November 31, 2015.
