CMU College of Makeup Art & Design creates the new faces of the global entertainment and fashion industries. We are a private college offering highly specialized courses in makeup artistry for fashion, theatre, film & television, prosthetics and creature design. CMU is an industry leader influencing the direction of makeup artistry worldwide through the accomplishments of our graduates and the notable activities of our instructors and staff. Our instructors’ award winning design, department head and personal makeup artist credits include Saw II, The Incredible Hulk, Hairspray and many, many more. The school has operated in downtown Toronto for over twenty years. Our current location, The Old Fire Hall at 110 Lombard Street, is a beautiful heritage building with state-of-the-art makeup classrooms. Our students have completed their first week, building a strong foundation in hair styling, learning professional techniques, and gaining hands-on experience in the classroom.
From mastering the fundamentals to putting their new skills into practice, it’s been a great start to their creative journey.

That’s a wrap on CMU Summer Camp 2026!

What an incredible summer of creativity, learning, and transformation! Our Summer Camp students explored the world of makeup, developed new skills, experimented with creative techniques, and gained hands-on experience in a fun and inspiring environment.
We’re so proud of everything they created and all the new skills they took away from the experience.

And this is just the beginning! Looking ahead to Summer 2027, we can’t wait to welcome another group of young creatives to CMU College of Makeup Art & Design.
