We’re thrilled to introduce Lindsay Mapayi, a 2025 graduate of Sacred Heart High School and one of our 90%+ guaranteed entrance scholarship winners!

Lindsay is diligent, charismatic, ambitious and ready to gain the skills she needs for a successful career in healthcare. She also gives back to the community as a volunteer with the Navy League Cadets of Yorkton.

This fall, Lindsay will be joining us as a pre-nursing student with the goal of completing the entire Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Suncrest College.

Zowie has spent the past two years as a busy mom while working full-time at Kinistin Saulteaux Nation. Now, she’s ready to return to school and invest in her future.

This fall, Zowie will be starting the Business Certificate program at our Melfort Campus.

Introducing Nora Steininger, a 2025 graduate of Langenburg Central School and one of our 90%+ guaranteed entrance scholarship winners!

Nora is well-known for her academic support and mentoring. She tutors students, volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters, supports school clubs, and even makes blankets for local animal shelters.

This fall, she’ll begin the Medical Laboratory Assistant program at our Trades & Technology Campus in Yorkton.

A 2025 graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Rinoah is an exceptional student with a strong academic record and a passion for learning. Before moving to Yorkton, she lived and attended school in the Philippines, where she was active in choir, music, peer tutoring, the science club, and numerous community and church initiatives.

This fall, Rinoah will be joining us as pre-nursing student with the goal of completing her entire Bachelor of Science in Nursing program here in Yorkton! We couldn’t be more excited to welcome her to Suncrest College!

Let’s celebrate Grace Bulych, a 2025 graduate of Ituna School and one of our 90%+ guaranteed entrance scholarship winners!

Grace is a master of time management and was able to juggle three jobs, extracurriculars, and a 90%+ average, all while giving back to her community through volunteer work like tree planting, storm cleanup, and beautification projects in her hometown.

📣 We’re excited to share that Suncrest College will be launching a new cohort for the Bachelor of Indigenous Education program this fall!

Offered in partnership with First Nations University of Canada, this four-year degree focuses on Indigenous culture, language, and holistic learning—preparing you to teach in elementary or high school. 🧡

📍 Locations: Yorkton and a remote section based in Melfort
📅 Classes start September 2025
🎓 Apply through the University of Regina

This program is open to everyone—and it’s a meaningful path for those who want to teach with heart, cultural understanding, and a connection to community.

🌟 Thank You to Our Incredible Scholarship Donors

We are so grateful to the individuals, families, and organizations who generously support Suncrest College students through scholarships. Thanks to our donors, and with nearly all awards matched through the Saskatchewan Innovation and Opportunity Scholarship (SIOS) program, which provides Government of Saskatchewan funding matched with donations from private sector and community-based partners, hundreds of students each year receive meaningful financial support.
Our donors play an active role in creating their scholarship. They choose the award name, set the criteria, and decide whether it’s an entrance or internal award. From there, our team manages the promotion and application process, making it easy to give back.
Each year, donors are invited to personally present their awards at our Scholarship Ceremony, a truly special moment for both donor and student. This year, we were honoured to welcome several new awards created in memory of loved ones.
