Someone hit two wild pigs near Austin, Manitoba. Anyone see the pigs? I have been trying to find someone to cut off an ear from each for me.

Wreaking havoc across the country, the wild boar is destructive, adaptable and virtually unstoppable.

"University of Saskatchewan scientists have been documenting the spread of wild boars since the 1990s as the rogue pigs have infiltrated the Prairie provinces, southern and central Ontario, western Quebec and southern British Columbia. A 2019 study headed by Ryan Brook, lead researcher for the Canadian Wild Pig Research Project, found the feral pigs had increased their range by nearly 90,000 square kilometres per year between 2011 and 2017," writes Susan McClelland.

Anyone catch CBC news tonight? They were going to run a piece on wild boar farms in Saskatchewan. I hoped they used my quote that “this was a problem when Cheers was a popular TV show.” Honestly the province putting a moratorium on new wild boar games is like a moratorium on new Blockbuster video stores. I don’t see anyone l wanting a boar farm.

Boris Boaraloff was a huge hit at Lakeview school this morning.

A bit of a whoopsy when I was showing them the skull and large bullet shaped piece of lead fell out..but no one noticed. Not sure if you can see but the skull has about seven bullet holes in it.

I posted this as a comment but re-posting it here again: I know LOTS of guys who buy land to hunt, get permissions, and/or hunt crown land. People complaining about no one giving permissions mostly are too lazy to put the work in and just whine on facebook about it to be honest. I don't know many fishermen or moose hunters posting the exact location of their best spots. The only real option is to do the work. No one is going to tie a pig to a tree for you and give you directions.

Once we got 10,000 followers I will drop in a pig hunting map and make a GoogleEarth file available too.
