Meet Grace! ✨

Grace is a PhD student in the Joint PhD in Educational Studies program, specializing in Cognition and Learning, with a focus on digital pedagogy. Her home university is Brock University.

Her doctoral journey has been transformative, helping her grow as an educational scientist and strengthen her critical thinking skills.

Looking ahead, Grace hopes to transform classroom experiences through innovative technologies, making learning more engaging, meaningful, and useful for students. 💡📚

The Faculty of Education is seeking qualified instructors to teach online, AQ and ABQ courses this upcoming fall 2026 semester.

Courses include Teaching LGBTQ Students, Co-operative Education, Communications Technology, Teaching English Language Learners, Reading, and more.

Learning, serving, and growing - together. 🌍💙

This past spring, UWindsor students from Education, Nursing, and Social Work travelled to Tanzania as part of the Teach Tanzania service-learning experience. Working alongside local educators, health-care professionals, and community members, they built meaningful partnerships, shared knowledge, and gained invaluable lessons in collaboration, cultural humility, and global citizenship.

From classrooms to community health initiatives, the experience is one our students will carry with them throughout their careers.

Meet Bruno! ✨

Bruno is a Ph.D candidate in the Joint PhD in Educational Studies program, with Lakehead University as his home institution and a specialization in Cognition and Learning. His research focuses on student stress, mental health, and self-regulation in educational settings.
