“Madonna, residents on Vancouver Island, and soldiers in Vietnam share an unexpected connection: their request for Windsor-style pizza.”

🍕Discover the rich history of the Windsor-style pizza industry. Funded by the Canadian Business History Association, this website explores early Italian immigration to North America and the creation of Windsor-style pizza. It then traces the history of Windsor’s pizzerias, their competition with large pizza chains, and how they have maintained their legacy. I4

📚Each of the five sections includes videos, lesson plans, activities, and materials for educators teaching Grade 10 History and Grade 11 Food and Culture.
