This course is intended for students with little or no previous knowledge of German. A language laboratory will help students practice and improve their oral skills.

The German and Slavic Department has added a round table to the upcoming Undergraduate and Graduate Conference. This is an opportunity for students to voice their concerns and experiences regarding the war in Ukraine.

Call for papers!!! The German and Slavic Department is hosting its' annual Undergraduate and Graduate Student Conference on March 31st, 2022!
The conference will be taking place again on Zoom, for which we will post the link closer to the date.
Anyone with a presentation related to German and Slavic Studies can enter, regardless of major or minor. Abstracts (max. 300 words) are due March 10th.
There will also be a workshop hosted by the organizers, Dr. Alexandra Heberger and Dr. Lars Richter, date and time still TBA!
We encourage everyone to enter, it is not only a great learning experience, but also super fun!!
