--- General meeting update ---

-On Wednesday (January 24th), we will be having a Russian movie night at 5:00 p.m. with pizza and snacks. Hope to see you all there!
- Timm will be making the arrangements for a bake sale in the near future.
-The date of the February bake sale will be decided later.
-The next RSA meeting will be on January 24th at 10:30 a.m.

всем привет!

- Our bake sale will take place in Fletcher Argue Hallway from 10:40 am until 2:30 pm next Wednesday, November 15th.
- We need more volunteers to bring baked goods!
- Timm will provide the brownies and maybe some hot chocolate.
-Liza will bring cupcakes. Rachel will make some Rice Krispies. Albero will bring the cookies.
- Liza will bring and return the cash box to UMSU.
- Weston is reserving the table for the sale.
- Other event dates are still to be determined.
- Our next meeting will take place on Friday, November 17th at 12:00 pm in 101C Tier at the Fort Garry Campus.

LOVE IN RUSSIAN CULTURE
IN ENGLISH TRANSLATION

An introduction to the discourse of love in Russian culture from the
Middle Ages to the present. The course explores different meanings of
love (spiritual, erotic, romantic, same-s*x, familial) in Russian culture by
means of examining a variety of portrayals of the interactions of love, s*x,
religion, and politics in literature and other cultural forms. The course is
designed for students who have little or no prior knowledge of Russian
culture. Language of instruction: English.
