Dear Level 1 graduates, dear parents, honored guests, dear learners,
Today is a day of pride. Pride for you who persevered all the way to this defense. Pride for us, your trainers, as we see the results of your discipline.
You haven’t just completed a level. You have proven that commitment leads to success. This certificate you receive is proof: hard work pays off, even when the journey is demanding.
But Level 1 is only the first step. Don’t stop at the bottom of the staircase when the top is waiting for you. The job market, professional life, entrepreneurship… all of it demands more skills. So I encourage you: keep going. Complete your journey at VELC. Every level you complete brings you closer to a stronger and freer future.
And to you, young people and adults listening to us today: look at these shining faces. Six months ago, they were in your position, with doubts. Today, they are examples. The place they now hold can be yours. VELC/Butembo Center opens its doors to you. Come learn a skill, a trade, one more opportunity for your life.
