With arms wrapped around trees and hearts rooted in purpose, the BSES students stood in solidarity with nature through this meaningful Tree Hugging activity. More than a symbolic gesture, this initiative reflects our deep commitment to environmental stewardshipโ€”recognizing trees not just as part of our surroundings, but as living partners in sustaining life.

Through this simple yet powerful act, BSES students showed that caring for the environment begins with awareness, respect, and genuine connection. Each hug carried a message: that the youth are ready to protect, preserve, and nurture the natural world for present and future generations.

This Tree Hugging initiative serves as a reminder that environmental advocacy does not always start with grand actionsโ€”it begins with compassion, responsibility, and unity. As young environmentalists, we continue to stand firm in our mission to defend nature, one tree, one action, and one commitment at a time ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒ

The Society of Young Environmentalists (SYE) celebrates the Clean Air Month 2025 with the Theme: โ€œBreathe Clean, Live Green: Strengthening Action for Climate and Healthโ€. In celebration of Clean Air Month 2025, The Society of Young Environmentalists (SYE) together with the Supreme Secondary Learner Government(SSLG), Student Body Organization-KNHS (compose of all student leaders),and KES Faculty Members conducted a Tree Planting and Clean-Up Drive at Kinama National High School and Kinama Elementary School, followed by an Information Education Campaign (IEC) for high school students. The activities aimed to promote environmental awareness, proper waste management, and the importance of clean air in building a healthier and more sustainable community. Together they, planted trees, cleaned our surroundings, and shared knowledge to inspire action toward a greener future.
