Institut Frédéric Chopin International Society for the Promotion and Research of Piano Music

Ivan Chepkin captivated the Swiss audience and will return in August to present a new recital. Details of this event will be announced soon.
This young pianist, remarkably at ease with Chopin’s repertoire, is also a devoted admirer of Sergei Rachmaninoff, a composer with whom he shares his roots.
You can already enjoy his performance, inspired by the greatest Russian pianist, via the YouTube link above.

One of the most beautiful piano recitals I have ever heard! Several members of the audience expressed this after yesterday’s concert by Ivan Chepkin, winner of the Jeune Chopin Competition.
He possesses a rare sensitivity today in producing a truly beautiful piano tone—something Chopin so highly valued in his students.
Will Ivan Chepkin continue to demonstrate his talent? Certainly—he will never leave an audience indifferent, as his sensitivity reaches straight to the heart.

“I couldn’t have spent Easter day any better,” said Martina Meola, laureate of the Jeune Chopin competition, during an interview on French television.
Magdalena Hirsz, the director of the competition, could not agree more: playing four-hand pieces with this exceptionally talented young pianist, being surrounded by masterpieces at the Château de Chantilly, having Prince Aga Khan in the front row, and listening to our jury president, Martha Argerich, in various chamber music programs simply brings immense joy to life.

These unforgettable moments were captured through the artistic eye of Lyodoh Kaneko, photographer and violinist

ow many young 13-year-old pianists are lucky enough to be supported and heard by the most celebrated pianist of our time, the patron of the competition and president of the jury of Jeune Chopin, Martha Argerich?
Martina Meola was fortunate not only to be a prizewinner of the competition but also to be invited to Chantilly, within the royal setting, to perform in the art gallery where Titian’s masterpiece accompanied her backstage.
Martina captured the hearts of the Parisian audience!

The collaboration between the Frédéric Chopin Institute and the Les Coups de Cœurs de Chantilly festival allowed us to visit the castle to present the Jeune Chopin 2027 competition in Lausanne, as well as our laureate, Martina Meola.

The Chopin Competition in Warsaw has just concluded, but let us not forget that the youngest artists have truly inspired us, regardless of the results. Additionally, Jeune Chopin Competition does not use artificial intelligence to judge performances, which is why our patron and jury president, Martha Argerich, offers her full encouragement to the young pianists. Among the rising talents in the world of piano, we find Martina Meola and Antonio Pavan, while the jury, composed of Martha Argerich, Alberto Nosè, Cédric Pescia, and Martin García García, Magdalena Hirsz and Akiko Ebi rightfully paid tribute to pianists Maurizio Pollini and Maria Tipo in Lausanne.

The competition in Warsaw brings the whole of Poland to life. At the concerts, I meet people from all walks of life — I was recently seated next to a sailor!
At the same time, my dentist and my lawyer are closely following the performances.
Who would have imagined such success when Professor Żurawlew first conceived it?
The Jeune Chopin competition was designed as a kind of stepping stone to the main Warsaw competition, and this vision has truly come to life.

More and more, these young pianists bring a certain freshness and depth to their interpretations.

Five young pianists — my brightest hopes for the future of piano — paid tribute with their music to the recently departed pianists.
