中国科学院大学（英文名：University of Chinese Academy of Sciences）成立于1978年，是经国务院批准创办的第一所研究生院，是国家教育部正式批准成立的正规高校，是一所专门从事博士、硕士研究生教育的新型现代化研究型高等院校。作为我国国民教育体系的一部分，与其他正规高校一样，招生纳入国家计划，学位授予由国务院学位委员会管理。中国科学院研究生院培养了我国的第一个理学博士、第一个工学博士、第一个女博士、第一个双学位博士。
