Dongbei University of Finance and Economics DUFE is located in Dalian, recognized as China’s most European-style coastal city. Ranked as No3, this is one of China’s best financial universities.

Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (hereinafter referred to as DUFE) was founded in October 1952, originally located in Shenyang and under the name Dongbei Institute of Finance and Economics which was established by joining Dongbei School of Banking (1946), Dongbei School of Business (1949), Dongbei School of Finance (1950) and Dongbei Institute of Statistics (1951), Dongbei School of Coo

peratives (1951). The university was renamed Liaoning Institute of Finance and Economics after being moved to Dalian and amalgamated with Liaoning Institute of Business in 1959. The Institute was taken over by the Ministry of Finance in 1979 and the name “Dongbei University of Finance and Economics” (DUFE) was adopted in 1985.
