Nanjing Tech University (Nanjing Tech University), referred to as "Nanjing", is located in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. It was jointly established by the National Defense Science and Technology Industry Bureau, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government. It was selected into the national "2011 Plan", "111 "Plan" and "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan", are the Jiangsu High-Level University Construction Peak Plan Class A Construction Universities, Jiangsu Key Construction Universities, Jiangsu Comprehensive Reform Pilot Universities, Jiangsu Province Talented Universities Pilot Universities, and the first batch of national deepening innovation Entrepreneurship education reform demonstration universities, national university practice education innovation and entrepreneurship bases, professional degree postgraduate education comprehensive reform pilot universities, and Jiangsu Province implementation of "30 scientific and technological innovation reforms" pilot universities. The school was established in 2001 by the merger of the former Nanjing University of Chemical Technology and the former Nanjing Institute of Architecture and Engineering. One of its origins can be traced back to Sanjiang Normal School founded in 1902. Later, it went through Liangjiang Normal School, Nanjing Higher Normal School, National Southeast University, National Fourth Sun Yat-sen University, Jiangsu University, National Central University, National Nanjing University, Nanjing University, Nanjing Institute of Technology and Nanjing Institute of Chemical Technology and other historical periods; another source can be traced back to Tongji Medical Engineering School established in 1915 with the establishment of the Department of Pilots, and later experienced the Advanced Vocational School Attached to National Tongji University, the Advanced Industrial Vocational School Attached to National Tongji University, Tongji Senior Industrial School, Nanjing Architectural Engineering School and other historical periods. As of June 2022, the school has established Xinmofan Road Campus and Jiangpu Campus, covering an area of nearly 4,000 acres; there are 11 departments, 28 colleges, and 101 undergraduate majors; there are 7 post-doctoral mobile stations and first-level discipline doctorates 9 points, 10 self-established second-level discipline doctoral degree award points, 1 doctoral professional degree authorization point, 29 first-level discipline master degree points, 20 self-established second-level discipline master degree award points, and 18 master professional degree award points [82]; there are more than 3,000 faculty members and more than 38,000 students.
