A festive gathering in Kazan, bringing Chinese and Russian students together. 🌕🏮

Ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival and China’s National Day, we brought students from the NPU–KAI Chinese Language Center together for an afternoon of culture, tradition, and friendship.

From learning Mid-Autumn stories and trying the traditional game of Touhu, to tasting mooncakes and making lanterns together, students experienced Chinese traditions through hands-on activities and shared moments.

Though miles may separate us, culture brings us closer. 🌏

Here’s to new friendships, meaningful exchanges, and many more memories together!

The same moon, a celebration across borders. 🌕🌏

At the NPU Kazakhstan Branch, we celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival through poetry, lantern making, tea, mooncakes, and cultural sharing.

Students also explored the journey from ancient Chinese imagination about the moon to modern lunar exploration, discovering how tradition, science, and culture can come together in one festival experience.

Thousands of kilometers away from Xi’an, the spirit of reunion still brought our community together.

One moon. One NPU community. 💙

A taste of Mid-Autumn at NPU. 🌕🥮

We celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival with our international students at Chang’an and Youyi campuses through mooncake making, lantern crafting, poetry, traditional games, and plenty of shared laughter.

For many students, it was a chance not only to discover the traditions behind one of China’s most cherished festivals, but also to create new memories with friends from around the world.

Different cultures, shared moments, one NPU community. 💙
