With more than 35 years of experience in development finance, climate risk, and international policy, Prof. Dr. Bhattacharyay brings a truly global perspective to GHU's doctoral community. He has held senior roles at the Asian Development Bank and collaborated with the World Bank, IMF, and UNESCAP across central banks and institutions in Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.

A prolific researcher with more than 135 published articles in international journals, he advises GHU doctoral candidates in the fields of sustainable development, climate finance, infrastructure, ESG, and international trade.
