CCS-Lab invites you to a workshop exploring the intersection of computational history and the history of science, with a focus on epistemological foundations and the unique challenges in these fields. Speakers will address key questions, including the role of formal models in shaping historiographical narratives, distinctions between digital and computational history, and how computational approaches in the history of science differ from other historical domains. Special attention will be given to case studies from the histories of alchemy and chemistry. The event is open to researchers, students, and the general public.
