🎓 Dr. Alexander Vogt, Lord Mayor of the German City of Halle (Saale), recorded a greeting message for the students of SKHM during the district conference of the German city of Halle in the SKHM hall on May 6, 2026. 🇩🇪
The SKHM – State-Approved Studienkolleg Halle-Merseburg at Merseburg University of Applied Sciences – has been officially state-approved in Germany since 2016, is based in Halle (Saale), and, as of April 2026, has successfully graduated around 1,800 students from more than 80 countries.
Many SKHM graduates have continued their university studies in Germany, and some of them now even work in the city administration of Halle (Saale), reflecting the successful integration of international students into the local community. 🏛️🇩🇪
In his greeting message, the Lord Mayor especially expressed his hope that international SKHM graduates will remain in Halle (Saale) or the surrounding region after passing the internal state FSP exam with preliminary grades (Vornoten) and completing their university studies in Germany. This also reflects the appreciation and support of the City of Halle (Saale) towards SKHM and its international students.
