We are pleased to share that the survey of one of our PhD researchers has been featured by MoneyToday.

The research project, conducted in collaboration with the University of Bamberg, explores how generative AI may shape the future of investment advisory, and which factors influence its acceptance among private investors.

AI offers significant potential for data-driven insights and efficiency. At the same time, trust, transparency, perceived risk, and human expertise remain central when it comes to financial decision-making.

📘 New publication

We are pleased to announce the publication of a new book chapter by researchers affiliated with Alma Mater Europaea - ECH, now published by Springer Nature.

The chapter, “Business Challenges Between Innovation and Societal Values”, explores the growing tension between rapid innovation and societal responsibility in a global business environment.

The authors Anna-Vanadis Faix, Stefanie Kisgen und Werner G. Faix discuss how approaches such as Responsible Innovation (RI) and innovation quality can help organizations integrate sustainable and socially responsible value creation into their innovation processes — particularly in the context of developing countries and global challenges.

✨ A special moment during the Festive Session 2026 of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts in Salzburg: the ceremonial presentation of the commemorative publication “Das Herz Europas – Wissenschaft, Humanität und Verantwortung.” in honour of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Felix Unger’s 80th birthday.

The volume honours the remarkable life’s work of Prof. Unger, heart surgeon, founder and Honorary President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. Contributions from international scholars reflect the central themes of his work, the connection between science, humanity and responsibility.

📖 The publication was presented by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Klaus Mainzer, President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, together with . Anna-Vanadis Faix, Assist. Prof. (AMEU), CEO of Alma Mater Europaea – ECH.

🌟 The presentation of the Festschrift was one of the highlights of the Festive Session, bringing together distinguished guests from science, culture and public life. The volume also includes contributions from two Nobel Prize laureates, Prof. Dr. Ferenc Krausz and Prof. Dr. Emmanuelle Charpentier.
