Are you ready to hack? Get more information about the first Hackathon in Regensburg, Germany. What exactly is a hackathon? Sounds good, right? Stay tuned!

A hackathon is an event in which software developers, designers and entrepreneurs come together and work on an idea for a few days. The event will be sponsored by companies, that means we have exciting prizes and planned key notes for you! There is also a career fair waiting for you to be checked out and of course free food and drinks. We will open the Hackathon for students for free, but also wan

t to give full time employees the opportunity to join for a small ticket fee. We will accept up to 150 people -- depending on the funding we get. Scaling up will not be a problem, since our location is pretty flexible. For us, it’s extremely important to bring in a diverse group of people, hence we want advertise the Hackathon especially to underrepresented groups, e.g. women in tech. We will have exciting speakers, key notes, prizes, sponsors and attendees at the event, so stay tuned!

Hackaburg 2022 war für uns alle ein großartiges Ereignis, das wir im Jahr 2023 wiederholen und noch besser machen wollen. Derzeit arbeiten wir intensiv daran, die Rahmenbedingungen dafür zu schaffen. 👩👨💻

Aber wie einige von euch vielleicht wissen, ist es ziemlich anstrengend, ein so großes Event zu organisieren.
Deshalb sind wir auf der Suche nach motivierten Menschen, die sich unserem Organisationsteam anschließen wollen. 👑🔥

Wir suchen Leute für die unterschiedlichsten Themenbereiche. Webdesign / Marketing / Application Management / Printdesign / Social Media / Support-Team. Wenn du daran interessiert bist, neue Leute kennenzulernen, deine Ideen zur Verbesserung des Events mit einzubringen und Teil des Teams zu werden - wir sind die beste Adresse für dich. 🍕🍺 Pizza und Getränke werden gestellt. 😎

🏰💚 Hackaburg 2022 was a great event for all of us, and we want to repeat it in 2023 and make it even better. We are currently working hard to create the framework conditions for this. 👩👨💻

But as some of you may know, it is quite exhausting to organize such a big event.
That's why we are looking for motivated people to join our organizing team. 👑🔥

We are looking for people for a wide range of topics. Web design / marketing / application management / print design / social media / support team. If you are interested in meeting new people, contributing your ideas to improve the event and becoming part of the team - we are the best place for you. 🍕🍺 Pizza and drinks will be provided. 😎

Liebe Hackburg Freunde & Teilnehmende,
wir mussten uns leider letzte Woche dazu entscheiden abzusagen. Die aktuellen -19 Inzidenzwerte zwingen uns dazu. Wir können kaum die Sicherheit für alle Teilnehmenden auf unserem gewährleisten. Aufgrund der Vielzahl von Personenkreisen, die hier zusammen kommen ist die Gefahr auch zu groß. Ihr als Teilnehmende aus diversen Universitäten oder/und Studiengänge, Mitarbeiter unserer Sponsoren, die der DGO und auch wir als ehrenamtliches Team wären sehr gefährdet. 😔

Wir sagen zwar Hackaburg nun erneut ab, planen aber fest damit es wieder zu versuchen. Sobald ein neuer Termin feststeht seid, ihr die Ersten, die davon erfahren. Haltet durch, bleibt gesund und habt eine wundervolle Zeit bis wir uns endliche wieder sehen! 😁🙏🚀

Dear Hackburg friends & participants,
Unfortunately, we had to cancel last week. The current -19 incidence values force us to do so. We can hardly guarantee safety for all participants at our . Due to the large number of people coming together here, the danger is also too great. You as participants from various universities and/or courses of study, employees of our sponsors, those of the DGO and also we as a volunteer team would be very much at risk. 😔

We are now cancelling Hackaburg again, but we are planning to try again. As soon as a new date is set, you will be the first to know. Hang in there, stay healthy and have a wonderful time until we finally meet again! 😁🙏🚀

The black ones are for the participants and the green ones will be worn by all helpers. This way you will be able to recognise us perfectly at the event. 👍😄
