UN SURREALISTA "FUERA DE SERIE"

A 530 metros sobre el nivel del mar anida el ángel de este destacado creador plástico tan dominicano como universal.
En la ciudad donde "las aguas se juntan", Jarabacoa, y protegido tras el silencio de unos pinares tan auténticos y longevos como su sabiduría misma, cada día se auto reinventa el gran maestro Iván Tovar, el último surrealista del caribe.
Cirscunspecto, poca falta le hacen las palabras.
No hay lenguaje más elocuente que sus formas geómetricas, antropomorfas y biomecánicas, que emergen de sus vivencias, de su mundo imaginario y de sus sueños más profundos.
