In the Marketing and Society course, the students of Marketing CMT decided to turn a simple idea into a powerful message. One day, while discussing everyday accidents and how quickly things can go wrong, they asked themselves: what if we were the difference between life and death? From that moment, “طوق نجاة” was born.

The students stepped out of the classroom and into a more real experience. They didn’t just talk about first aid they brought it to life. Through dramatic scenarios and interactive moments, they made their peers feel the pressure of emergencies and the importance of acting fast and correctly. Each situation told a story, and each story carried a lesson: knowledge is not just information, it can be someone’s lifeline.

As the activities unfolded, hesitation turned into awareness, and awareness turned into responsibility. By the end of the intervention, the students had not only educated others but also created a shared feeling that in critical moments, a small action can become a “طوق نجاة” that saves a life.

We were honored to host the College of Management and Technology (CMT) Annual Advisory Board Meeting on Sunday, 19 April 2026, at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AAST) – Abu Qir Campus.

Bringing together leading industry experts, advisory board members, and representatives from all our departments, the meeting was filled with insightful discussions, forward-thinking ideas, and valuable exchanges on the future of business, management, and technology.

From exploring evolving market trends to strengthening the connection between academia and industry, the session focused on one key goal: preparing our students to thrive in a fast-changing, competitive world.
