The UC Berkeley Disability Cultural Community Center (DCC) is launching the Disability Wellness Fellowship for the 2025–26 year! Ten student leaders will be selected to co-create and lead wellness initiatives rooted in disability justice, radical rest, and community care.

NAVCAL is a first-of-its-kind navigation program that helps students learn how to access Berkeley’s resources, from academic tools to housing help, financial aid, mental health support, and more.

🔹 Who is it for?
NAVCAL supports low-income, first-gen, transfer, undocumented, formerly incarcerated, system-impacted, disabled, and other marginalized students—but anyone who wants help navigating Cal is welcome.

🔹 Why use it?
Because students deserve more than just access—they deserve belonging and support. NAVCAL pairs you with a peer navigator who’s been there and gets it, ensuring you never have to go it alone.

Meet Cecilia Saavedra, the Administrative Coordinator for the SEED Scholars Honors Program at UC Berkeley! A proud Chicana daughter of immigrants and dedicated Tía of four, Cecilia brings warmth, intentionality, and deep care to her work supporting SEED Scholars as they navigate their academic and personal journeys. 💛

With a background in Ethnic Studies and student organizing, Cecilia centers community, joy, and liberation in all she does, on and off campus. Whether she’s coordinating student support or sharing poetry and art, her work is rooted in love and resistance.
