We are excited to share that our Master’s Programme is represented in Athens! We are incredibly honored to have been invited by the Athens Institute (ATINER) to participate in their international symposium on Urban Studies and Planning.

This is a proud moment for our Master’s validated programme in Innovative Design. Two faculty members and two students from our Master’s program have been selected to present and discuss their latest research on a global stage.

This week, Nicolás Rodríguez and Andrea Giorgi have covered topics related to Speculative Design and Social Innovation.
Our talented students, Felix Merkelbach and Line Nilsskog, will present their works on Social Innovation in Sim-Citizens and Augmented Stewards, as well as on Cultural Homogenization in a Fully Standardized Society.

Recognizing both our experienced educators and emerging student researchers by such a prestigious institute highlights the strength, relevance, and real-world impact of the work being done in our classrooms daily.

Representing our institution at this microsymposium is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to vital global conversations surrounding urban development, sustainability, and planning.

Sabrina Scognamiglio, a fashion designer translating the psychology of shyness into a luxury collection, and she is one of our Class of 2025 Graduates.

“Fashion is not just about fabric; it is about feeling. Welcome to my world, where shyness transforms into strength, and silence breaks into confidence. 🖤”

This collection explores the delicate tension between vulnerability and empowerment. Using rich textures—velvet, silk, fur, and satin— Sabrina translated the journey of "taking off the mask" into tangible silhouettes. From the restrictive lines of self-doubt to the free-flowing elegance of self-acceptance, every stitch tells a story of personal blooming.

Inspired by fine art (Van Gogh’s starry nights) and the opulence of the Venice Carnival, my design philosophy merges classic tailoring with raw human emotion.
Stress becomes structure. Fear becomes fabric.

Our 1rst year Graphic Design & Media students just wrapped up a project that pushes editorial design to its limits.

They created a flip magazine that revisits an existing publication in their own style. All projects are based on experimental design (broken grids, expressive typography, fearless layouts).

Presenting "Sacred Bloom" by Anna Kabba — a Spring/Summer 2026 collection where modern elegance meets personal storytelling.

As part of their Print Design for Fashion project, our 1st year Fashion students are challenged to develop a seamless repeat print using both handmade watercolor techniques and Photoshop.

The final design must be created as a finished physical garment — from pattern making and toile fitting to fabric printing and professional construction.

Inspired by femininity in bloom, Anna's collection draws from floral elements, pomegranate tones, sunlit landscapes, and vintage references. The palette of green, yellow, and deep red creates a visual language that feels both tender and intense — intimate, radiant, and deeply expressive.

"Sacred Bloom is a story of femininity in bloom for special occasions," Anna shares.

The Marbella Design & Arts Fair has now come to a close — but what an experience it was for our students.

This year was especially positive. Our Interior Architecture students had the unique opportunity to work directly on designers' stands, becoming active participants in the fair rather than just visitors.

We would like to extend our deepest thanks to:

• All the designers who welcomed our students and gave them their time, attention, and trust. You made them feel part of the experience, and for that, we are truly grateful.

• The organisation of the Marbella Design & Arts Fair, which year after year create such a remarkable event and always allows us to collaborate to create such an enjoyable and profitable learning experience for our youngest talents.

It was a fantastic event and a powerful networking opportunity for the students who chose to be part of this project.

We can't wait for next year's edition!
