The conference "Mediating Arctic Geographies" was held last week in beautiful Inari. Thank you to all our wonderful speakers for their inspiring presentations. The talks sparked lively discussions that continued from conference sessions and dinners until late hours of Arctic white nights. We hope that the conference participants enjoyed this event as much as we organizers did!

Join us for the first event in our online seminar series Indigenous Geographies and Arctic Art, "New Arctic Sovereignties"! The seminar takes on 28 April from 5-6:30 pm Eastern European Time (EET).

Given the recent developments of the Covid-19 pandemic in Inari and internationally, we have come to the painful conclusion that we cannot organise the conference as a live event in January as planned. We are therefore going to move the conference to June – the new dates will be announced by 13 January. In addition, we are going to organise a series of online seminars from January to June. All updates will be posted on the conference website https://www.mediatedarcticgeographies.com/2022conference and page.
