The countdown is on!
This August, the School of Computing, Engineering and Technology at Robert Gordon University will proudly welcome students from Japan for the 9th Nippon Foundation Energy Transition Summer School.
From their very first day, students will experience a uniquely Scottish welcome with bagpipes, traditional Aberdeen rowies, and plenty of opportunities to connect with their RGU buddies and mentors.
Over three action-packed weeks, they'll learn about:
*Wind, Solar, Hydrogen, Wave and Tidal Energy
*Blue Economy and Sustainable Oil & Gas Production
*AI, Cyber Security and Emerging Technologies
*Subsea Engineering and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles
*Renewable Energy Management and Carbon Capture
Alongside lectures and workshops, students will enjoy industry site visits, cultural experiences, and the chance to work closely with RGU academics and industry experts.
The programme concludes on 4 September, when students will showcase their projects and celebrate their achievements at a graduation ceremony, receiving certificates to mark the successful completion of the Summer School.
We can't wait to welcome our newest cohort and continue building international friendships and collaborations that support the future of energy.
