Kings London recognised the two minute silence at the War Memorial in Beckenham last Tuesday. 🌹❤️

They later took a walk to St George’s Church to check out some very old tomb stones, learn more of the history of the area, as well as feed the local squirrels!🪦 ⛪️ 🐿️

Lots has been going on since Halloween at Kings London, see an update from the General English Level 5 class this week who enjoyed role playing car chases; they also had a rather sinister Halloween visitor and individual class presentations! ❤️ 🤩

Presentations were given from a host of diverse and interesting students, all coming from a wide range of places including Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Brazil, Turkey, Kosovo, Saudi Arabia and Switzerland! That sure is a lot of diversity all in one classroom!? Student all had the chance to share, joke all whilst learning as they go! 🌎 📚

Speaking and Listening English class recently went for an autumn walk to Kelsey Park. 🍁🍂They discovered a stream and stepping stones, and enjoyed walking amongst the trees watching the squirrels, ducks, geese and coots. Some students were particularly surprised to see the parakeets and how tame the geese were. 🐿️🦆🦜🪿

All in all it was a good informative trip out, not only did students enjoy being out in nature, but also for the experience of being able to practise their English in real life situations, ie: pavement, lamp posts and roundabout etc. all useful learning experiences! 📚😊
