It’s been a brilliant week at lifework, so many new faces joining us for meeting rooms, drop‑in passes and yesterday’s community lunch, where fresh members met familiar ones over lunch food and a lovely conversation.

If you’ve been thinking about trying co‑working closer to home, we’re open 8:30am–6:00pm and drop‑ins are always welcome. If you’re already on the farm, just poke your head in and have a look, we love a spontaneous hello.

The only day you can’t do that is this bank holiday, as we’ll be closed. Otherwise, we're all yours for any questions you may have!

If you’re planning a multi‑department get together, an evening workshop, networking night or … dare we say it … the Christmas party, lifework is ready for you.

Our converted barn in Winsley gives you the freedom to shape an event to your needs. With zones for breakout sessions, relaxed sofa areas, quiet booths, a central table for twelve, superfast broadband, a large projector screen and full presenting facilities.

You can reconfigure the space to suit your group size and format, from strategy sessions to celebrations. And yes, there’s free on‑site parking for everyone!

Evenings, weekends, away days, workshops the whole space is yours to shape.
Plus, with Hartley Farm next door, great food and drink is only ever a few steps away or provided in lifework with their packages.

If you know lifework, chances are you know She’s been part of our community for
years and today she’s commandeered our 4.2m centre
table for a very good reason, exhibition prep!

Busy putting together the invitations for her upcoming
exhibition at the this September,
Lucy will be showcasing her beautiful artwork, all
created just down the road from us.

We’re very lucky to have Lucy as part of the lifework
community. She’s quietly brilliant, endlessly creative
and always brings such a lovely energy into the space
even if today she has managed to turn our biggest
table into her very own temporary stationery studio. 😂

And, naturally, we’ll be encouraging everyone here to
pop along and see her work in September. We think
you’ll love it as much as we do. 🎨

A great Community Day on Wednesday with Fran from , who joined us to help our members learn a little more about their health through a quick assessment.

The session takes around 10 minutes, is completely non-invasive, and gives you an insight into your metabolic age, body composition, and where there might be opportunities to improve your overall health and fitness.

We had some brilliant results too... one member discovered their metabolic age was almost 15 years younger than their actual age! Safe to say there were a few smiles around the workspace.

If you missed Wednesday, don't worry! Fran is back with us this afternoon and has a few sessions available. If you've been curious about your own results or would like some expert advice on getting fitter and healthier, now's the perfect opportunity.

Yes, the roadworks are back. Yes, they’re everywhere. Yes, it looks like a million cones and temporary traffic lights have staged a coup.

But we are open, as is Hartley Farm. We're not saying ignore the signs that look like they’re trying to redirect you to Wales, we are just saying keep going. You can get here.

It’s a tiny bit annoying, but absolutely no reason to stay home. We’re here, the coffe is on and Tom’s done a brilliant video explaining the chaos over on the page so please do take a look.
