Community Day isn’t just for the humans…

Before the pastries even made it out for our co‑workers, the early‑riser pups headed off for a morning wander. With our community manager at the helm, 16 paws and plenty of lead‑unravelling, everyone explored the fields behind us, expertly dodged the Hartley Farm cows and got all their energy out before the workday kicked in. From smallest to largest we had: Chewy, Ace, Holly and Fergus ... and then Lottie, (human community manager not pictured because her walking buddies don't have any thumbs to take one!),

One of the best parts of being a dog‑friendly workspace is exactly this: plenty of space for a proper run, so our community can enjoy a comfortable day of work with calm, friendly pups who can head out when needed.

Once a month we do this: pastries, a leisurely morning, and an optional shared lunch at midday. It’s a lovely chance to catch up or meet new members without the seriousness of a regular networking event.

There’s something really lovely about having everyone back in the same space. The conversations feel easier, the pace picks up and it’s just good to see people working side by side again.

If your team could do with a day together, we’ve got everything you need. Private meeting rooms for focused time or day passes if you simply want everyone under one roof. Free parking on site and an award‑winning restaurant and deli for the kind of lunch people actually look forward to!

A gentle nudge to bring the team back together and a warm welcome waiting when you do 😊

This past week we’ve seen a real mix of energy at lifework: drop‑ins settling in for a focused day, new members joining the community, meeting rooms buzzing and a brand new team preparing to move into their office in the coming weeks.

We still have two private offices available, perfect for small teams who want calm, beautiful surroundings with a friendly community on their doorstep.

If you’d like to explore how lifework could work for you, whether it’s a desk for the day, membership or a home for your team get in touch at: [email protected].

It’s been a brilliant week at lifework, so many new faces joining us for meeting rooms, drop‑in passes and yesterday’s community lunch, where fresh members met familiar ones over lunch food and a lovely conversation.

If you’ve been thinking about trying co‑working closer to home, we’re open 8:30am–6:00pm and drop‑ins are always welcome. If you’re already on the farm, just poke your head in and have a look, we love a spontaneous hello.

The only day you can’t do that is this bank holiday, as we’ll be closed. Otherwise, we're all yours for any questions you may have!

Bring everyone together; the whole team in the whole space.

If you’re planning a multi‑department get together, an evening workshop, networking night or … dare we say it … the Christmas party, lifework is ready for you.

Our converted barn in Winsley gives you the freedom to shape an event to your needs. With zones for breakout sessions, relaxed sofa areas, quiet booths, a central table for twelve, superfast broadband, a large projector screen and full presenting facilities.

You can reconfigure the space to suit your group size and format, from strategy sessions to celebrations. And yes, there’s free on‑site parking for everyone!

Evenings, weekends, away days, workshops the whole space is yours to shape.
Plus, with Hartley Farm next door, great food and drink is only ever a few steps away or provided in lifework with their packages.

So, whether you’re bringing departments together, hosting a community event, or getting ahead on festive plans, lifework gives you the room to make it memorable

Coffee at Hartley → Wander into lifework → Trial afternoon → Regular face

We’ve welcomed a few new faces over the summer, and we’re so grateful for the lovely words they’ve shared. This one came in on the off‑chance for a look around, stayed for a trial afternoon, and left with our 'Bundle Passes'.

Grab 10 or 15 days, save 10–15% and use them over months in whatever rhythm feels good. It’s the perfect stepping stone before exploring membership with us.

Buy your bundles via the link in our bio or email our community manager with any questions 😊

We’re here to help you get away
from distractions… but this week we failed.

Meet Dela, our newest (and cutest) member, who
single‑handedly derailed productivity across the space
over lunch and beyond, showing us all her tricks and
trying out every lap that offered a cuddle.

Productivity? Low.
Stress levels? Lower.
Worth it? Completely.
