✨The future of the creative industries was put on display as we hosted our the opening of our Brighton MET Fest Creative Industries Showcase!🎨

📸 From striking photography and fine art to bold visual merchandising and styling, the exhibition is packed with inspiring student talent and fresh creative voices.

🥁We were also thrilled to welcome the incredible Barulho bringing the energy with their unique fusion of Afro-Cuban and South American rhythms, mixed with funk, hip hop and drum & bass.

🎮 What a day! Our students went head-to-head with Chichester College in the Tech Titans challenge, showcasing their skills, creativity and competitive spirit! 🚀

Working in mixed teams, participants took on a range of real-world tech scenarios, from security-based CTF tasks to complex networking challenges using Cisco Packet Tracer, all designed to test collaboration, creativity and technical skill.

🏆 It was a closely contested competition, as our students taking the top spot, a brilliant result and a testament to their hard work and ability.

Every student walked away with new skills, valuable experience, and Amazon vouchers to recognise their efforts, making it a rewarding day all round.

Inspired by Refugee Week, we’ve been celebrating connection, wellbeing and teamwork across our ESOL community! ♥️

Our 16–18 students took on BHASVIC in a fantastic football match full of determination, energy and teamwork. A huge congratulations to all the students that took part in the 4–0 win. 👏

We’re also so proud of some of our adult learners, who recently ran the London Marathon in April with Sanctuary Runners!

A selection of our students also recently headed out with The Running Charity - walking and running together for body and mind.

From the pitch to the marathon, moving together builds confidence, community and belonging. 💫

✨We were delighted to see so many of our talented English students take part in the exciting Young Writers Challenge! ✍️

Focusing on the theme of ‘Stranger Sagas’, students crafted mysterious and thrilling short stories in 100 words or fewer, showcasing real creativity and imagination.

A huge congratulations to all 97 students who submitted their work, you represented the college brilliantly and should be incredibly proud! 👏

🎬 We’re thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievement of our talented Theatrical, Special Effects and Hair & Media Makeup student, Alana, who has made it through to the national qualifiers of the WorldSkills UK SFX Makeup for Film and TV Competition! ✨

To earn her place, Alana created a highly realistic SFX look depicting third-degree burns, complete with smoke inhalation effects, as well as a person in shock.

The competition challenges students across a wide range of makeup and SFX techniques, helping prepare them for careers in the film, TV and media industries.

A huge congratulations, Alana - we’re all rooting for you! 👏

We were delighted to attend a series of inspiring heritage courses delivered by the Sussex Heritage Trust.

Joined by students from Chichester College and Crawley College, our students took part in sessions at Bader College, Herstmonceux Castle, including ornamental plastering and sash window repair workshops.

A huge thank you to everyone involved - it was fantastic to see our students getting hands-on and fully immersed in these interactive experiences 🙌
