We bring dogs to the University of Sussex every Monday, Wednesday and Friday during term term for group walks through Stanmer Park.

Meet Charlie the Chocolate Lab, Popsy the German Shepherd, Bonnie the Goldendoodle, and Scout the Spaniel, alongside our honorary new members Parker and Amber.

Want to meet them for yourself? We walk every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, buy your membership and come along to meet our newest four-legged friends! 🐶

📸 Sussex Photographic Society (Photosoc) x dogsoc walk!! 🐕

We're pleased to announce we will be doing a collab walk with the Photographic society, hoping to get some great photos of our dogs 🐕

Memberships are required, either a member of dogsoc or photosoc :)

It was lovely meeting so many people, you all brought the doggy love!! ❤️ Thank you to everyone who came along 🐾

If you'd like to continue joining us for our walks next week, you'll need to buy a membership! Get yours on the student union website for only £5.99 for the whole year, this goes towards doggy treats, poo bags etc.

If you're interested in becoming a dog walker, there's an application form on our linktree in our bio, so please fill that in after buying your membership. We'd love to get you paired with our dogs.

Thank you to everyone who came to see us at the Freshers’ Fair today!! It was lovely meeting so many fellow dog lovers 🐕

🐾 Become a dog walker

If you’d like to be paired with one of our dogs, please buy your membership and fill out the committee application form through our Linktree. You don’t need to be paired with a dog to join our walks! Being a dog walker comes with a little extra responsibility and commitment, so please only apply if you’re happy to take that on.

We still have a couple of dogs looking for their walking buddies, but spaces are limited and pairings will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. We’ve had loads of interest today, so if you’re keen, make sure to get your application in soon!

🐶 Membership Info

Our membership is live on the Students’ Union website! You’ll need to sign up for a membership to join our dog walks and sit-down sessions. Your membership helps cover essentials like poo bags and treats, as well as our dog first aid training, which is really important for anyone who gets paired with a dog. It's only £5.99 for the year.

🐾 WE’RE BACK! 🐾

After all your support in helping us save DogSoc, we’re so excited to introduce your 2026/27 senior committee! 🐶🎉

Memberships are now LIVE! 🎟️

For just £5.99 for the whole year, you can join us on our walks, come along to our Doggy Sit Downs and get involved with all things DogSoc. Your membership helps us cover the dogs’ essentials, including treats, poo bags and first aid training for our committee members. 🐕💩

You can also apply to become a walker and be paired with one of our dogs! Walkers collect their allocated dog, bring them to campus for the walk and then take them safely home afterwards.

Our walks are:
🐾 Mondays at 12pm
🐾 Wednesdays at 1pm
🐾 Thursdays at 12pm

📍 We meet on the green outside the ACCA building.

We cannot wait to meet all our new members, and we even have some new dogs joining the DogSoc gang this year 👀🐶
