Quick snapshots from the Year 2 UG Innovation student Showcase! In the context of the unit Solving Someone's Problem, 18 interdisciplinary teams presented various concepts of sustainable systems, campaigns, digital products and services for Temple Quarter developments in through the lens of four different organisations and briefs: How might TQ be made more vibrant and welcoming? How might TQ partnerships strengthen local journalism? How might TQ place-making benefit from AI-driven insights? How might TQ empower flexible schooling for young people?

🎓Thinking about applying for a Think Big Scholarship?

In this video, , a master’s student in Digital Media and Innovation, shares five honest tips for approaching the application process with more depth and clarity.

Think Big is the University of Bristol’s flagship scholarship scheme for international students, offering funding towards tuition fees for eligible undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

A few key points:
• you must already have applied for an eligible course starting in September 2026
• you must be classed as an overseas student for fee purposes
• you do not need to have received an offer before applying for the scholarship
• by completing the international scholarships application form, you will be considered for all Think Big Scholarships you are eligible for

Deadline: Friday 10 April 2026, 10 am (UK time).

To be able to imagine how the city will transform and co-design for sustainable transitions, the students have been exploring the area thanks to a tour led by team and a walk&talk experience with Tara Miran from Barton Hill Micro Campus

Walking as a form to learn is a great tool to open up critical questions, connect with people and places, contextualise ideas for positive futures.
